back with a special addition of Ikoku Meiro no Croisee, “Concert”. The title at the beginning says episode “4.5”, I guess this occurs, plot-wise, after Yune first goes to Alice’s house and before her encounter with the vagrant boy and gets lost in the Gallery. The reasoning behind not making this episode a part of the natural listing is most likely because nothing particularly relevant happens; by that, I mean that none of the relations change and no new background information is relevant, just an interesting story of a musician whose grandfather fell in love with a Japanese woman way back when, and that woman taught a song that her husband wrote to Yune’s sister. Now the granddaughter of the musician and Yune meet in Paris to share a song.
This was a very lovely episode and I’m glad it was released regardless of its irrelevance to the plot. Yune is too cute to not have her sing a song at some point. If you’ve got some time, definitely check this out, it’s a nice little “extra” for the series.
(I’m keeping this post short because, as stated, this episode wasn’t considered a part of the natural listing of the series)
